Duoplane Retailer accounts
Available on all plans
Duoplane is able to handle how orders are imported based on their payment status or their risk scoring in your ecommerce platform. You may want to change this setting to either prevent orders that could be fraudulent, or simply have more visibility of them by putting them on hold first.
In this article you will learn how to access your store's order management settings and manage how unpaid or risk recommendations are handled in Duoplane.
Accessing a store's order management settings
These options are set at a store level and to access them you will need to do the following:
- In your Duoplane Retailer account, go to Main Menu > Settings > Ecommerce Stores
- Select the store you wish to change settings for and click Edit
- Scroll to find the section labeled Order management
Settings to handle unpaid orders
There are several different types of order statuses Duoplane can filter, and this information comes directly from your ecommerce store when the order is imported: pending, partially paid, authorized, or none. Depending on the store you may only see two options: authorized or none.
The three settings you can choose to manage these different types of payment statuses are:
- Import
- Import and put on hold
- Do not import
Settings to handle risk recommendations (Shopify)
There are three categories of risk evaluation scores, based on Shopify's Order Risk API:
- Accept (low risk)
- Investigate (medium risk)
- Cancel (high risk)
Like with unpaid orders, there are three different choices for how to handle each: import, hold, or do not import.
Settings to handle each order status (BigCommerce)
For BigCommerce stores, there are three additional and more specific categories of status, in addition to general payment status:
- Awaiting payment
- Manual verification required
- Declined
Like with unpaid orders, there are three different choices for how to handle each: import, hold, or do not import.
