Duoplane sends emails on your behalf to both vendors as well as to end customers. To help ensure that those emails are delivered to the end recipients, it is important to indicate Duoplane is allowed to send emails from your domain.
To increase the deliverability of emails that Duoplane sends on your behalf, we highly recommend using the Sender Policy Framework (SPF) settings at your DNS provider to show that Duoplane is authorized to send emails for you. This reduces the chances that your emails get rejected or get flagged as spam.
- Login to your hosting provider (or whoever manages your domain's DNS settings)
If you do not know who manages your DNS, you can use tools such as https://mxtoolbox.com/spf.aspx to look it up.
- Edit or create your SPF TXT record
If there is not yet an existing SPF record, create a TXT record that reads:
v=spf1 include:mail.duoplane.com ~all
If an existing SPF TXT record exists, edit the existing SPF record to include mail.duoplane.com. Add
include:mail.duoplane.combefore the last operator (which is usually ?all, ~all, or -all).For example, if you already have a record that reads:
v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all
Change it to:
v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com include:mail.duoplane.com ~all
